Frasier Weekend

Hey everyone! This past weekend we got invited to stay up in Frasier with Steve and his family! So, Me, Adam, Aubrie, Dasiy, Courtney, Steve, Blake, and Emma all went and stayed in a condo that had such an awesome view! It was freezing and snowing in the mornings but in the afternoon it would clear up and the weather was awesome. Then we got to watch the lightning at night from 3 stories up. Courtney and I got to have a small break from the kids and we went and sat in the hot tub. The boys (and Daisy) of course got a large break from the kids (hehe) and went fishing. Of course they didn't catch anything unitll Sunday while we were in Grand Lake. Sunday on the way home we decided to drive through Rocky Mountain National Park which is where most of the pics are taken. As soon as we drove in we saw elk and a moose! Then a little up the way we saw some elk that were really close. But no bears:(!! Too bad for Aubrie because she slept the whole way through. Well the next trip will just be Aubrie and I!!! We are going to fly to Kansas for a whole week to visit my family and go to the state fair! yayyayayya!!! (Sept.7-14)

Bored

As you can see i was a little bored today because i don't want to go out in this 101 degree weather we are having. I put together some funny pics of Aubrie so i hope you enjoy them. Maybe my sister will stop yelling at me to update my blog. hehe Sorry Vic. Also there is a really funny video of Aubrie playing with her daddy. (sorry about adams underwear sticking out)!

Aubrie can crawl!!!

It's official....Aubrie can now crawl! It actually really started happening on July 4th. She just took off and hasn't stopped since. She can aslo pull herself up to stand beside the furniture. It's crazy i guess time to get some baby gates. She just turned 8 months yesterday. Time is going so quickly. I better start planning for her first birthday! jk That's still pretty far away.

Fourth of July 2008

Aubrie's first 4th of July was exciting!!! On the 3rd my friend Jessica, aslo the babysitter, took us to watch fireworks at Edgewater. We were right under the fireworks and Aubrie loved it. She wasn't scared at all and was clapping and screaming the whole way through. She actually fell asleep and we had to wake her up to watch them. The next night my friend Tyler from Kansas came over and me him adam, and Aubrie thought we could watch them from our backyard but it didn't quite work out. We could only see the really high ones so we drove to a back neighborhood to watch the rest. She actaully watched for about a minute then fell asleep on my shoulders. Poor baby she had to stay up late two nights in a row but slept untill about 8:30-9:30 the next morning so i got to sleep in!!!!

Well this past weekend Adam, Aubrie and I got to go up to his dads house in Conifer. I love to go there because it's in the mountains and it's always exciting to see the new things they do to their home. In a couple of the pics you will see how Aubrie likes to steal Grandpa's swinging chair. It was so comfortable she fell asleep in it! Then on Mon, Tues, Wed my parents came up from Kansas and we all stayed at my brother Roberts house in the Springs. It was a lot of fun but i had a cranky baby. (sorry mom). My dad, brother, his girlfriend Cassey, and I went to Cripple Creek to the casinos. Let's say i had a great time not winning anything and everyone else had a great time winning! That was ok Robert had to buy us all lunch for winning the most!

Ok So Victoria talked me into setting this up. I'll try my hardest to keep it updated. I'm sure I will have no problem but it will take up some of my scrabble playing time! :)
